Miami Dolphins 17, San Diego Chargers 10
The Dolphins played keepaway from the Chargers holding onto the football for 36:41 last Sunday in Miami. The offense was purring for the Fins who rolled up 390 total yards on the reeling Chargers’ defense. Chad Pennington was very effective once again completing 22 of 29 passes for 228 yards with a TD pass. Ronnie Brown had another great game for the Dolphins rushing for 125 yards on 24 carries (5.2 ypc) with a TD run. Ricky Williams resisted smoking pot during the bye and it paid off as he rushed for 39 yards on 13 carries (3.0 ypc). Ted Ginn Jr. (7 rec, 55 yards) and Greg Camarillo (6 rec, 68 yards, TD) led the way in the passing game last week for the Dolphins. The Chargers could only muster 202 total yards against the suddenly stingy defense of the Dolphins. The Dolphins are now a surprising 2-2 this season already winning more games than they did all of last season.
