2. (44) Pat White, QB/WR
The Miami Dolphins drafted Pat White specifically to run the Wildcat formation from the QB slot. Anything he does over that is a bonus. White is 6′0″, 190 pounds and he runs a 4.5 40 showing that he can get deep if he needs to. White also has a very strong arm in case teams cheat into the box to stop the Wildcat. White played 4 seasons at West Virginia playing in 49 games (42 starts) and he completed 507 of 783 passes (64.8%) for 6,049 yards with 56 TD passes and 23 interceptions. White is also a dynamic runner carrying the ball 684 times for 4,480 yards (6.5 ypc) with 47 TD runs at West Virginia and remember, they take sack yardage away from rushing yards in college. This was a good pick for the Dolphins.
